In our Berwangerhof restaurant, we combine the roots of Allgäu cuisine with fresh ideas. Products from local farms and hunting are the stars on our plates – refined with creativity and a lot of passion.
We spoil our guests with varied evening menus as part of our pampering half-board package. However, external guests are also very welcome in our à la carte restaurant. Whether for an enjoyable evening for two, a family celebration or a wedding – we create the perfect setting for unforgettable moments of pleasure.
In the afternoon, the aroma of homemade cake beckons – perfect with a cup of coffee on our south-facing terrace with a fantastic view of the Allgäu Alps. Fine wines, regional beers and warm hospitality round off your culinary experience with us.

Our AlpenSpa is a place where you can truly relax and unwind. Covering around 1,000 square metres, it offers a world of tranquillity and well-being: several saunas, cabins for wellness and beauty treatments, cosy relaxation rooms – and, at its heart, our spacious panoramic swimming pool with massage jets and counter-current system.
As your gaze wanders through the large windows over meadows and the Allgäu peaks, you will feel every tension melt away. Whether in the morning when you first dive into the clear water or in the afternoon when you warm up in the sauna – here, time becomes a precious break.
Our spa is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The saunas are preheated for you every day from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A place where body and soul find balance – and where holidays simply do you good.

The Oberallgäu region around Obermaiselstein is diverse: from lush meadows and traditional agriculture to rustic alpine pastures with mountain huts. Authentic, family-friendly and full of living tradition. In the nearby towns of Fischen, Sonthofen and Oberstdorf, charming boutiques, cosy cafés and a variety of shopping opportunities await your visit.
